    FL studio sampling

    hey guys i have a padkontrol and fl studio 10. whenever i load samples onto the FPC and play they they all overlap and it sounds echoed and awful. i want each sample to start over each time i trigger it on my midi can anybody help?

    Look at the right corner, you will find "Cut -- / Cut By --" make them 1 - 1

    yea man i figured it out but thanks a lot that was the best and simplest answer i've seen however

    Yeah get familiar with slicex, its the easiest way to sample in FL studio imo.

    yea when I first started I was messing with the FPC too... but after discovering Slicex and putting in a little time to learn how to use it I can say it is vastly superior- the whole waveform of the sample is displayed and your able to manipulate it in anyway within a few seconds- pitch/speed/move sample start positions without affecting other markers at the same time all mapped to keys on the midi controller- plus a ton more features i haven't even discovered yet

    Slicex is the best thing i ever used for chopping samples and arranging them. but when i copy the slicex's a few times for different effects i get those crashes everytime inside FL.
