Who Used Pro Tools To Sequence?

I've tried all these demos and full versions of differenet sequencers...Reason, Cubase, Ableton Live, yada yada yada. Their all great, don't get me wrong. Thing is, I always end up doing the final mix in Pro Tools. Pro Tools has a sequencer, but from what I heard, its not all that great.

Does anyone in FP use Pro Tools as their sequencer for composing and mixing?

ok man, im kinda lost! i dont thikn reason is a sequencer!

i think that the reason pro tools is the industry standard is cos as far as audio goes, pro tools kills off all other sequencers! i used 2 be an SX man but since i got pro tools i cry when i hear i have 2 use cubase when at friends' house!

no no no, pro tools is the industry standard because of marketing, user interface, and design. I've never used it as a sequencer though. It's main purpose is audio recording and mixing, not sequencing.

    Okay...so Pro Tools has a sequencer...it is a sequencer...it wants to be a sequencer...it isn't a sequencer...whatever.

Does anybody use Pro Tools to compose?

sequencing is exactly what it sounds like. its putting things into a sequence. thats what pro tools is. it's a sequencer with editing features and bundled effects. no more no less.

I compose and mix in pro tools.
