Hi , pretty new to the Rewire concept so if anyone can help out it will be greatly appreciated.
I have a Reason 5 and Cubase 5 installed on the laptop. I basically use Cubase for composition , and just use Reason as a source for some cool music patch.
Once rewired, you create a MIDI track on the Cubase, and in the Inspector window, route the desired Reason patch in the Midi Output(In this case I link to a Reason Combinator). everything is fine and the sounds can be heard in Cubase. However when you press F3 to call out the Midi fader in the mixer , in which I want to control its main volume, and it does not work. Even when I try to draw the volume level in the Midi Editor it still does not work.
I come up with the conclusion that as long as you are using Rewire, you can not change the volume directly from Cubase but in Reason...Is my assumption correct? I somehow believe there is a way to do it, any helps are appreciated.
thanks in advance.
