    setting tempos in pro tools

    can anyone help me set the tempo in pro tools? I did a drum beat and imported into protools, then i got a piano sample over it, but how do i match up the tempos?

    you can use the trimmer and set both waves to the same amount of measures in TCE mode . check out the protools site and navigate to the section called"DISC" they have a tutorial explaining this subject

    there was a bug in some earlier protools editions. i think i had that problem in 6.4 are you using full versions of reason? there may be a update to fix that problem. when i was dealing with it i would just write down the tempo of the piece when i was using it in reason stand alone. when i opened it up in a protools rewire session i would write down the BPM in the comments field under the master fader. this way if it didn't recall the correct tempo i would just manually type the tempo in the Pt's transport
