    First post btw, hi guys.

I'm trying to get these FLAC's into Edison to slice them. So I tried to open in VLC and record from Edison. However, the asio4all drivers and everything makes this difficult. Is there a way to record this way? Or even better, is there a way to drop FLAC's directly into FL/Edison?

use FLICflac or FLACdrop or something to quickly convert the FLAC to a copy which is a WAV file and then just use the WAV file. If you need to do this to hundreds of files all at the same time, set up Foobar2000 to do it. It takes some work to set up but is possible in the settings.
