Ok, I got my new computer and cubase VST and I've been having some problems hooking up my synth, recording and getting playback.
I have a midex 8 midi interface and I have channel 1 going out of my synth into channel 1 on my interface, I'm using midi track 1 in cubase and have midex 1 selected for my out, so the sound should be going out channel 1 on my interface and into my synth.
So all that should be right. Right? Well after I record midi track 1 into cubase, I press play and the sound that comes out of my speakers is awful. It's like this massive distorted overloaded sound. I can kinda hear my track in the background noise. The sound plays for like 2 seconds and then it freezes and stutters until I unplug the midi in on my synth.
Sorry this is so long but WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!
