I remember someone recently saying they didn't like that they couldn't have the audio from Reason/Record playing while they e.g. went on youtube - couldn't find the thread and don't know if anyone ever replied to it but all you need to do is go Edit/Preferences/Audio and then tick the 'Play in Background' box.
