Hi all,

Maybe someone one out there can help me. I currently have the mpc2000xl stereo outs going into the Mbox 2 line IN 1 and line IN 2 (1/4 cables)...turntable to the RECORD IN on mpc from OUT on preamp...Axiom 49 via USB to the back on the iMac.

My problem is that I can't receive a signal in protools when creating an Audio Track for a vinyl sample that I have on the pads in the mpc. All of the signals work for Instrument Tracks when I'm using the plug-ins, however the audio sample will not read in PT9.

Also, if I insert a plug-in software in PT9, the sounds can be triggered with no problem on both Axiom and MPC simultaneously (ex. Battery 3 from Komplete), however if I play a simple drum pattern out and track in mpc, the second I add a new plug-in the "new" instrument sound seems to be playing in the drum pattern that I've tracked out once I hit play on mpc. I have a feeling it's the I/O setting in PT however I've tried to switch them to all possible selections and no signal lol...

Can someone let me know if my wires are right?

Would I need to MIDI the axiom to the mpc? I currently have the mpc MIDI OUT going to Mbox MIDI IN and Mbox MIDI OUT going to mpc MIDI IN. It's configured in the Audio Midi Config in iMac as well.

I've read up on the forums, but have yet to figure it out...
