^^no...there's nothing you'd gain from full-screening the actual rack, including the devices.

It's been said many times, even by the people at Propellerheads, that Reason wasn't really meant to be a complete softstudio, but more as an add-on to your current one.
ok i really7 dont understand why yall care!if your that sensitive ud use hardware, but u aint ur usin software, so i cant understand the fact that the rack doesnt maximize is such a turn off! its like there is no reason the rack needs to be bigger, & nobody seems 2 be able to come up with one!
& it is the best of both worlds because as i already stated u have a space efficient rack & a ****-off sequencer!
I gave you a reason that they should maximize the rack space. To make use of the full screen, do you disagree
Okay say they made 2 versions of reason
1. the current version
2. a newer version with maximized rack space, and precount.
but they both cost the same amount of money.
Which would you buy?

Thats not how it was pushed when it first came out. When I got that joint back in 2001 it was supposedly a complete studio. Then they changed it to a rack of synths to work alongside other stuff through rewire. Now it has "mastering" effects eventhought the sequencer doesnt support audio. Its all marketing BS.Originally posted by Kossae

Chill mayne. Not everybody's working at the same resolution as you. The rack should be (but never will be) resizeable to make the instruments as big as possible in the screen space.Originally posted by yann

Having a user interface in the software domain means you don't have to cling to hardware interface design paradigms. When that is done, however, the possible resulting limitations are completely artificial. In most cases, when a complete content creation environment functions this way, it's only a case of inefficient design.
