mbox2 mini no midi

anybody use the mbox2 mini and found a work around for the lack of MIDI port. digidesign says you can use any midi interface along with the mbox2 mini and protools7.3 will sync everything up.

anybody with any experience on this?

Yea dude as long as your computer is recognizing MIDI messages from whatever interface your using then you should be fine. Just make sure that you go through your MIDI preferences in Pro Tools and make sure everything is set properly.

How do you do that exactly i can't figure out how to set up my midi interface in pro tools.

I figured it out i just had to re-install my interface then start pro tools over. Then it recognized my midi interface.
