Making everything under certain frequencies mono in Ableton?

Hello,

Just a simple question. I can't figure out and have had bad luck researching the issue, but how do I make all my baselines and frequencies under a desired frequency to mono? Do I need to do something on the master channel? Or do I need to go to individual midi tracks?

Did you try utility to make your signal use one stereo channel? I'm not sure of any plugins to do specifically what you asked.

Try grouping your bass tracks and using utility on the group track. Utility isn't really the best because you cant get both stereo channels to output into one consolidated mono signal, but if your bass has no sound differences in L and R it wont matter. Groups behave like buses if you didn't know already.

There are plugins to do that as well, like the Brainworx bx_control.

You can do this with any hi pass filter that also has a Mid/Side feature. I do this all the time with T-Racks's Linear Phase EQ.
