I can't add my MPC to Pro-Tools?

Hey FP!

I've already done this but i had to restore my computer. When i did i re-installed pro-tools and tried to add my MPC as an instrument. I completely forgot how.

I lost my manuel and forgot how to add an instrument.
Can someone help me please?

Which protools are you running?

You need to go into midi set up..

I don't think you know what you need to do at all. You don't add a MPC as an instrument. You add an audio track to record a MPC or an Aux to hear it and sync it midi clock. Instrument tracks are for sequencing and recording. Why would you sequence a sequencer? LOL!

Dude is right about that. I assumed you meant adding the instrument to be slaved by pro-tools for tracking in..Where in that case you can add it into the midi set up as an instrument
