Hypersonic 2 envelopes question

If I load a patch that doesn't have the attack and release there, and if I go into "edit" and adjust the attack and release, nothing happens. I'm not sure if I am doing the right thing though. So, how would you guys go about adjusting the attack and release for a certain patch?

make sure you are adjusting it in the global envelope/generator.
each sound is usually made with more than one generator. after choosing "edit", tab through the synths/generator for that particular sound and adjust releases, until you find the global envelope for that sound. ..... hope that helps
