My question is and I have searched everywhere high and low, I have Reason 4 and a Yamaha Dgx-500 and I wanted to know if there is some way that I can use the sounds from my keyboard in Reason. If its not possible in reason can someone tell me a program that can do that and how to do it in that program. Ive complpetly driven myself nuts trying to figure it out

reason is pretty much an all inclusive program. so you couldnt, say, record the sounds from your keyboard into it.

i would look into cubase but i dont know much about it as I use Reason 3 and FL studio.

you have to use something like audiocity to record the sounds from your keyboard then load then me up into Reason.... but it's not worth it really unless you really really need a sound from that keyboard if not just buy refills and plenty of them

and I think there's free ones too on Reason's site if you are a registered user

no, not directly. you can get a rewire host like Live which will allow you to use both the keyboard and Reason simultaneously in one simple sequencer.
