oo, that one i aint try, i DO want Varazdin Orchestra.

I'm a big FL supporter but I am not a fan of varazdin. Some of the samples are not recorded that well. For the price it might be worth it if you can afford something like Miroslav Philharmonik (classic recently was selling for $99)

I'm checking it out, it sounds good, I need good strings so it seems like it would be nice to have. I work with soundfonts but they don't have every note.

I have designed a future concept of how i would like fl studio (or any DAW) to be.

As i am a new user, i am not allowed to post links, so please visit my deviant art page located in my signature. You will find the design in my gallery or on the front page. I also have posted the design over at KVR Audio, just search google for: FL Studio Redesign. Please feel free to post the image here, untill i am able too.

Thanks

Yo I checked out that FL redesign and that ish is ILL my dude. Submit that ***** to Image-Line.

I have tried to contact Image Line about the skin, but have had no replies.

Though i have had massive feedback from people wanting it though. At the moment i am donating some of the design to Linux Multimedia Studio (free version of FL Studio for all platforms)

However this design has not been implemented anywhere yet.

i dont mind FL's look i just wish that the vsti thing was set up like cubases and other daws are. i dont want a vst to be set on a certain channel i want it to be in its own host so you can set the channels accordingly.

... so yeah pretty much fix that vsti thing and it will be ok in my book.

So it should be ok now. Any Channel on the FL Mixer can be a bus for a vst and any other channel can send its own amount of signal to that bus. Are you not aware of this capability? It's been there since FL7 I believe. The mixer is the TRUTH!

Fuk yess when's the release..? Yep the samples are dealt bad Gota downlaad or buy packs otherwise I love fl

Fruity Loops would actually be worth buying if it came with a decent library

The library is NOT to be rescieved with the DAW...that's why it's only half of Reason's price.Reason's got the best stock library and is the most powerful of all DAWs but....FL is the most flexible one.

where in the hell did you find any info on fl studio 9
From the official IL Forum. Some infos leaked through.

That's some (real/official) pictures of the playlist in FL9:

New stereo shaper:

Gross Beat - sample time shuffler

track color picker (not that important, but can come in handy)

Some Youtube videos made by gol (FLs lead developer) showing some new features:

note grouping:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYEpeeZ3PDI&feature=channel_page

improved drag'n'drop:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLrOLDQZFSw&fmt=22

real sidechaining for some fx (no need for the peak controller workaround anymore):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohr14UotytI&feature=channel_page

besides (collected from several threads all around their forum):

- effect plugins will also be multi-threadable. Means: full multicore CPU support

- Project folders. Right now, if you e.g. drag'n'drop a sample it always lands in a specific FL system folder. In FL9 a project folder gets created for each song where everything related to that song automatically gets saved to. (alá Cubase)

that's from top of my head. There's a lot more confirmed stuff.
