Question Cubase SX vs SL..... Any big difference?

I've decided to go with Cubase as my dig audio sequencer but I was wondering the big difference between SX and SL. What are some price differences you've seen at various stores? What about track limits?.... I plan on running VST's, Hardware (modules), Kontakt, and Reason 2.0.... would this rise any problem in SL?? Is the extra money worth puttin forth on SX... or is the lesser price worth settling on SL?... well thanks for the help. Peace-1!
I see your fear. I see your greed. Only when I plunge... will you see me. Prick.

SL is just fine, and totally worth the great reduced price.

Im not sure of the differences, but it can't be too bad

SL is fine... For some reason Steinberg seems to have removed all actual information about their products from their website. But if I remember correctly, I think SL is 16 VST instrument slots instead of 32, no TrueTape, no SystemLink, the mixer is not as nice and a maybe a couple other minor differences? The mixer differences are the only thing that is a real problem, even then it's not too big of a deal.

Cool idea. But don't they license those so that you can't upgrade or get any support?

    I thought I read that somewhere....You can have it, but it's stripped down/ un-upgradeable?

    Cheers

"Actually they are not stripped down versions. However you do need to
show proof of status to Steinberg in order to properly register and
hence use the product. So, as long as you are a student then you should
    be OK."

So what happens when you graduate?

    Your Dongle expires?

I'm confused as to what they mean by "properly use"

    Access to updates?
Acess to their crappy users group?

    I don't get it...Please help

    Respectfully,
    Mingus
