I was mixing a song in Cubase and my computer started to stall. Everything started to delay. The levels were delayed, I would push the stop button and that was delayed, I would move the little bar with the play, stop and record buttons on it and that left a trail of other boxes and that was delayed also. I figured it was a problem with my computer, so before the program completely froze on me I saved my work up to that point.

I then restarted my computer and brought the same file back up again. The same problems were occuring that occured before. It saved my work along with all of the problems. I opened another file and everything was fine. This happend over two weeks ago and everytime I open that same file up the delay problems occur. Is there a way that I can copy everything I've done and save it on another file? What can I do? I don't want to start all over again from scratch!

Also if anyone has any information on how to mix hip-hop tracks or know where to obtain this information, please let me know.

    Thanks!

It's probably a plugin that is place heavy load on your system. Maybe even a whole bunch of plugins.

I don't know about SE, but SX has an option to save your projec to a new folder under the "file" menu.
