Controlling Battery in Cubase Drum Editor

Does anybody know how to control Battery functions from the controller lanes in the Drum Editor in Cubase SX ? The only thing I can control are the velocity values so far. Battery doesn't react to any other changes I make in the controller lanes.
I'm especially interested in the pan edit function to pan out drum sounds. If you're familiar with the piano roll in FL Studio; I want to be able to edit my drums from Battery in Cubase just as easy and fast as it is in FL. I hope you guys understood what I meant and that you can help me out!
Please don't suggest to just use FL rewired or something because I believe that the drum editor in Cubase is superior to FL's editor.
    Thanks!

    Oh Man!
I guess I haven't tried hard enough to figure out my problem! Embarassing but I kept messing around and I got my problem solved by myself!
In case anybody had the same question:
In the controller lanes in Cubase there is a cc number to the midi edit function. Like pan has cc10. Then in Battery you right click on the pan knob-the automation window opens-, you select the midi cc mode and double click the coresponding cc number(In this case #10).
Damn! And I've been trying to get this to work forever!!!
