    Anyone use Prot Tools on Windows laptop?

    how does it run? any problems?

    i've got a lenovo u400, pretty solid specs except the graphics card. looking to get into pro tools but don't know if it'll run smoothly

    Works fine as long as your computer meets the specs and system requirements of PT.

    You can find them om avid/protools website on thier "compatability & system requirements chart"

    yea i checked that. and my laptop meets everything except the graphics card...

    Been running Pro Tools 8 on a laptop; 2 GB of RAM, 2 GHz Dual Core processor, Windows XP (6 year old laptop). Runs great.

    I really only used Pro Tools for recording, arranging and mixing, but the rare cases where I did compose in it, I only had problems with Komplete instruments. Any other plugins/ReWired programs, no problems at all.
