Yep. The point is, they are meant to be educational versions and you shouldn't be making profit from using academic software editions...

or to look at it another way...they give you something cheap while youre in school and hope youll continue to buy their product when you leave school and make a lot of money.

i think its almost worth it to enroll in one class at the community college level every quarter just to get the savings on things. you might even learn something?

Also, I don't think you can upgrade past a version #, like 6 to 7. Where you can do this with a retail version.
