Brass Kontakt Library with multiple articulations

So I recently purchased NI's KOMPLETE ELEMENTS, mainly because it was online as one of those "one day only" deals for stupid cheap.

This was my first experience using KONTAKT, and I have to say that especially for brass and strings, the interface is awesome. I had no idea.

So what I'm looking for is a BRASS library, compatible with the KONTAKT PLAYER, that has the same type of format as the kontakt stock samples (meaning you select a, instrument preset, and then within that preset you can select the different articulations... as opposed to having totally separate presets for staccato, legato, etc.).

I'm looking to stay under $300.

    Anyone know of anything??

great question. I have the Pro Sessions Orchestral brass it comes in Kontakt format but you need the full version and also works for Reason. I am using it with Reason because I use Reason as well. I am interested in what is out there too. Has anyone looked into Chris Hein brass? I have one of his guitars and I like how it sounds I wonder how good the others are.

^^^ The Chris Hein stuff always gets good reviews, and now they actually have a more "stripped down" cheaper version (CHH-C Overview) but what I can't figure out from the videos and such is whether or not it has the switchable articulations?

EDIT: I just discovered a whole bunch of video tutorials on Youtube from the user "MrChrisHein" that gives a lot of good info on this product!!

he is really good about emailing people. I have spoken with him several times via email and he usually responds quickly. I think one time I had to wait until Monday because I emailed him on a Friday afternoon.

you have mojo horns (kontakt powered) cost as low as $350 if you look hard enough... the Chris Hein Horns vols 1 - 4 is $799... i own both... Chris Hein Horn vols 1 - 4 is ideal for complex horn arrangments... mojo horns is closer to laying down a part fast... mojo horns multis are right on point... Chris Hein Horns are for a more experience programmer in my opinion... the both have scripting/articulation

now if you look hard enough you may be able to find Garritan Jazz and Big Band at a nice price (kontakt)... this library has "some" articulation... but not like the above...with GJBB... you will have to use eq/delay/reverb to get the sound you are looking for...

Pro Sessions Orchestral brass may come in a kontakt format... but it would be like taking a refill and converting that refill to wave files and loading those wave files into kontakt... kontakt's power is streaming from disk... not samples loaded into memory...

not all kontakt powered libraries can be played thru the kontakt player... whatever way you go make sure a player is in the package or it is comparable to the kontakt player...

What you're really looking for is Mojo Horns by Vir2. These instruments sound amazing, and have all the keyswitches to perform your horn parts within one Kontakt patch.

It's a little above your budget at $395. Not sure if you can find it for cheaper.. but this library is MORE than worth it. I don't open anything else for horns. Ever. If I need strong horns, I load up a multi of 3 (usually alto sax, trumpet, trumbone) and set each isntrument to 4 players.... add a touch of reverb and GOOD GOD. If I need a solo, the alto sax on this sounds unbelivably good... w/ the right amount of tremolo to make it a real performance.

I can't say enough good things about Mojo Horns.
