    Best drum SEQUENCER / sampler?

    Hi!

I've been looking into a couple of different drum sequencers/samplers as I would like to change the way i program my beats. I demoed Xfer Records Nerve and I really liked it, I felt it boosted my creativity a lot.

My question is, are there any similar drum machines that you use and like? In many threads people recommend Massive but I want a sequencer (if someone doesn't convince me otherwise). Or do you have other tips.

    Thanks!

If nerve boosted your creativity then its a no brainer. Get Nerve

Yeah I know, I'm just wondering if there are any alternatives before spending 200 dollars. I'd like to compare/try a couple of different ones before spending that money, I just don't know about any other software with the same functionality. Anybody know about one?

I of course meant Battery 3, not Massive, in the first post!

Next month I'm about to get this.
ZEROGcs - SOUNDS OF THE 70s

Just so I can have this.

Wish N.I would put it back on the market for a small price. I never thought about it because I was strictly Reason at the time.

I've been using this a a lot lately for free. Not for slicing samples, but for loading sounds in it and playing them through it with the effects and stuff.
    UVI Workstation 2.0.2 - UVISoundSource.com

Don't know why I don't use this often. Every time I do I love it. Free.
