Has anyone here ever used it on Ipad? I got mine on my ipod but am wondering if anyone would recommend it for IPad? If you have also used Nano Studio how does Nano studio compare to Beat maker 2.

I think it's sick. I have it on my iPod Touch and use it to quickly get ideas down. I prefer NanoStudio though because the synth is way better.

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Yes I would really recommend using Beatmaker 2 on the iPad. I've owned MPCs in the past and whilst it's ok to finger drum on the iPhone screen, having the drum pads on a large screen on the iPad makes masses of difference to your performance capabilities.

Having used both packages a lot I would say the main differences are:

Nanostudio features editable synths as keyboard instruments whereas Beatmaker 2 uses sampling keyboards. - Because of this it is easier to get nice sounding synth instruments in Nanostudio.

Beatmaker has way more advanced sample editing features, (similar to using JJOS on an MPC but even easier on a touch screen imo). So if you intend to make "beats" for Hip Hop / Grime / Garage etc out of sampled material then go with Beatmaker 2 all the way!
