Arduinos / Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth

I am working on a MIDI controller, actually turning a playstation controller into a MIDI controller. I have the codes and pure data, and the firmata for the Arduino, but where the heck do I find the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth on a PC? My DAW obviously knows it's there, but it's like not actually there. I've checked everywhere. Any solutions?

Thanks bandcoach. It's making me go crazy lol. I have tried other stuff, have downloaded third party software and nothing seems to work. Arduino is a whole 'nother beast. I'm gonna check those out in the meantime.
