Ableton 9 Live: How to make an echo effet?

Please, explain it me in a detailed way. Both for midi tracks and audio tracks, if there are any differences in applying it to the two.

Take a delay plugin (for example, Live's own Filter Delay) and either drag it on the track itself or a send track. In the case of the latter, adjust the track's send amount you want the delay on. Done.

If you know how to use plugins in Live, this is no different from any of that.

Or do you mean something very specific with the "echo"? People tend to use the term in various ways.
