Ah glad you got it worked out. How are you liking Windows 8?

I like it. With that said, the biggest adjustment for me is getting used to the new start menu. They did away with the traditional start menu and created a widgetized start screen instead. Although I have found people who have created hacks to bring back the traditional start screen, I would have liked to see a "traditional start menu" option somewhere in the control panel. $.02

Yeah, I think I'm going to make the jump to Windows 8 soon enough. I keep hearing great feedback besides the tiled interface, but with all the other ways to bring back a start menu I don't think it'll be a big deal. Is performance better?

So far so good. I have no complaints. I actually moved to 8 from vista, so its a huge difference. TBH, I'm just happy [and fortunate] to have a new[er] computer that can support my music software. What os are you using?

That's awesome, From Vista I bet its HUGE improvement. I'm rocking 7 right now, but definitely moving to 8 soon.
