I've bee using the free version of sample tank for a little bit, I like it, but i've been having problems importing samples...

sometimes it'll work, but allot of the times it'll jus sit there with the progress window doing nothing..

furthermore, a way to manipulate the imported sample would be cool too, setting up end and start points on the sample etc...

also it woudl definitely be helpful to be able to resize the main window...

better sounding sounds are always welcome, matter fact a must.... jus eliminate your competition completely by making the sounds as good or better than the leading keyboard workstations (motif, fantom, etc..)... i'm talking about the presets right out of the box before any mixing by the user... i mean if the workstation keyboards can do it then I'm pretty sure the software developers should be able to do it too...

there should also be more options for the synth sounds... more options to actually do somethign to the synth... right now theres pretty much the regular ADSR knobs which really doesnt do much...

If yall can do all that then I wouldnt even mind paying a little extra for the product... we all want to be able to make proffesional sounding stuff, if yall can give us a tool that fits on our laptops thus elliminating the need to lug around a huge keyboard or even an extra laptop sized sound module, then I'm pretty sure we'd be willing to pay a little more for that, nothing crazy expensive though, lol

    thanks

Have you used any of the FX to help mold your sounds into your mix? That is by far one of SampleTanks biggest strengths. Each sound isn't HUGE and hard to fit your song. They are made to be molded into whatever you want. Personally my secret FX in SampleTank is "Tone Control" really makes everything sound HUGE.

I do that now with the sounds from Sonik Synth and esoundz gave me two sampletank expansion libraries for free (OmniSynth 2 and Hip Hop Sounds libraries)
so I load those up in SampleTank 2 free along with the sounds from Sonik Synth and just use sampletank
any suggestions on some great tank expansion libraries (RnB/Pop/Rap) based with some great presets?????
because my main concern right now is finding more sounds to load up in Sample tank until I grab up Komplete 8 and it's a wrap
I got alot of great drum sounds already ....

what I think IK should do is go in heavy making great presets for a all in one sampletank like others said and make it your flagship VST plug

and what I would love to see is

More of the plug-in emulations like your black/white/fairchild/

do more emulations like UAD does with software emulations of hardware like
    Compressors/Limiters
    1176LN
    1176SE
    dbx 160
    Fairchild 670
    LA-2A
    LA-3A
    Neve 33609
    Neve 33609SE
    Precision Buss Compressor
    Precision Limiter
    Precision Multiband
    SSL G Series Bus Compressor

    Equalizers
    Cambridge EQ
    Harrison 32C EQ
    Harrison 32C SE EQ
    Helios EQ
    Manley Massive Passive
    Precision EQ
    Pultec EQP-1A
    Pultec Pro
    Neve 1073
    Neve 1073SE
    Neve 1081
    Neve 1081SE
    Neve 31102
    Neve 31102 SE
    Trident A-Range EQ

    Channel Strips
    CS-1
    Neve 88RS
    SSL E Series Channel Strip

    Reverbs
    Dreamverb
    EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverb
    EMT 250 Classic Electronic Reverberator
    Realverb Pro
    Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb

    Chorus/Delay
    Boss CE-1 Chorus
    Cooper Time Cube
    EP-34 Tape Echo
    Roland Dimension D
    Roland RE-201 Space Echo

    Special Processing
    Ampex ATR-102 Mastering Tape Recorder
FATSO Jr. / Sr. Analog Tape Simulator & Compressor
    Little Labs IBP
    Moog Multi-Mode Filter
    Moog Multi-Mode Filter SE
    Precision De-Esser
    Precision Enhancer Hz
    Precision Enhancer kHz
    Precision Maximizer
    SPL Transient Designer
    Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder

IK doesn't need to do all these but
I like to see Neve,API,Studer,Fasto Jr.,Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb,SSL E Series Channel Strip stuff like that for sure

you guys make amazing Guitar amps so I think you could make a killing doing this the right way

I'm actually in the process of making a video to show how powerful the stock libraries are for Sampletank and Sonik Synth. I just choose sounds, layer them and modify the sound if I have to. It is kind of nice limiting myself to one workstation actually.

exactly you guys do great work on emulations I just hope you guys continue to do so
    please pass this on
you guys could be killing UAD plugs emulation with your great support no need to buy overpriced $1,500 Sharc card dongle
like I said before I'm investing strictly in IK plug for mixing
just hope to see more tools for (favor/coloring) among other things

I'll probably spend some time just tweaking the sounds
thinking of picking up these expansions in July to play around with
    1.Hip Hop Grooves Retank Expansion.
    2.Dirty South Retank Expansion
just around $40 I know I can buy these separate on esoundz $23 a piece
but if I can buy from IK directly and use my jam points
I have $19 in jampoints right now so if it's the same price I could buy one expansion for only $4
