Going with a cheap usb turntable would not be a good option in my opinion.. You'll get very bad sounding samples and you won't be able to make your beat sound good if you use bad samples..
I suggest you invest in a Technics, buy a phono amp, and then hook it up to your computer. It's really worth it and trust me you wont regret it !
Cheaper solution:
Itunes.
A major load of music has been digitalized and can be downloaded from itunes.
Now, if you're a vinyl head or big on a nostalgia like I am, there's nothing better than that feel of vinyl!
Than, get a phono amp. They're not expensive. You have some ways to hook turntables to your A/Is as well, haven't understood them completely. Google it. Phono amps is better as far as I know. Phantom power on a mic in doesn't do the same as a phono amp.
Now on the turntable, you can get a technics, they're expensive. There are cheaper ones that are less suitable for DJ'ing but perfectly suited for getting samples from. Like belt driven vs a motor. Belt drives are fine for sampling.
Has anyone experience with the Numark TT Usb? I would think at some prize, usb tt would start giving off good samples now?
