    I want to use it for workflow, live performances, and possibly even Djing

    I love it to death. So much that I bought a second one.

    If you're using Ableton live I'd say it would probably be one of the best purchases you make.

    Loved it, but ultimately the secondary functions (ie. mixer stuff, adjusting effects etc.) are so resolution limited (ie. 8 steps) that I ended up switching to the APC40. Then again, I just use it as a studio controller and it's obviously more expensive; the Launchpad's form factor & price point are pretty awesome.
