Stuck in a BIND

I'm like maddd stuck in a bind between these two keyboards. The Fantom-X8 and the Motif ES8. I like the key action on both, but i love the pads on the fantom. Then again i like the sounds on the motif. I have seen a whole bunch of sound libraries just for the motif. I hate the stock drum sounds on the fantom, as i wont have much money to get drums for it at the time. I could get a mpd or trigger finger for the motif. I havent seen very many extra sounds besides the srx board for the fantom...

So what would you do?

I would wait until after January to make a decision. The NAMM show is coming up, and its about time that Korg, Roland, and Yamaha upped the ante and released NEW workstations.

If I absolutely had to buy a workstation today (i.e. if someone put a gun to my head) I would get the Alesis Fusion. It is lightyears ahead of the Motif, Fantom, and Triton.

Yup I agree, everyone who doesnt know much about music is allways talking about fantom and motif.......thats what everyone uses and what most people know.

Only reason i mentioned those 2 because those are the ones i like, and i have also demoed those two. But i would like some alternative routes as well, like setups that can do the same as the fantom-x or motif es8 wit mpd trigger finger, with good sounds for cheaper, wit maybe a mpc and something else
