    hey i was hoping i could get some help selected a cheap first time synth to be played over the top of an mpc. im looking for something possibly vintage that can give that 80s funk feel, but programable so i can **** with it how i want. any suggestions?

    The Roland Junos seem to be reasonably priced. But beware of faulty voice chips. Do some research on vintage synth dot com.

    thanks fellas. as far as im concerned that programmability is key, the only limitations are the user
