    hey was up...?
im really interested in gettin another keyboard to add to my setup and am interested in the asr10. i have a djx,microcorg,mpc2xl and a korg d1600mk2 recorder. im aware that i can sample with the asr but i am not really interested being that i have the mpc fully maxed out as my sampler/sequencer. can the asr10 play different sounds(ex. piano, flutes, horns)or is it simply used for sampling? can some one please help so i can add to my hiphop studio?

I'd say get it. For one thing, they are pretty reasonable in price and they still sound good. I just aqcuired the Motif ES and I'm still planning on copping an ASR10 just for the nostalgic value sometime down the road. To answer your question about the sounds, yes, it is a bread-and-butter synth/workstation that should compliment your existing set-up nicely.
