Patches from Comp to Roland D-50

Hey FP, figured you guys could help me out on this. i recently acquired a used d-50 from a local producer with 1 broken key and a little velocity issue on another, thats just an issue of dust, for 350. let me know if you think this was a good deal first. but also i came here to ask you if a usb to midi cable is all i need to send patches from my computer to my d-50. i cant post links yet or else i would. please let me know if i need something more, any details will help as well as im pretty new to synthesizers and midi. thanks !

sounds like a reasonable deal - fix the keys and you will know for sure....

As for sending patches back and forth, you will need some form of patch editor for the D-50 on your computer and your midi-usb cable.

alright thanks!, long & mcquade has told me to bring in the broken key and they'll see what they can do for me. but if not i found a replacement key on ebay. For the patch editor, im guessing D-50 librarian will work? im just going to buy a cheap 10 dollar midi-usb cable. thanks again
