Motif Rack Classic triggering multiple channels...help

I just got my Motif Rack Classic a couple days ago and Im using it in multi mode.. I've gone through the manual and its gotta be one of the worst manuals I've seen. For some reason when I'm using channel 1, its triggering channel 1 along with other channels and I can't find out how to disable that. Also for some reason the only channel thats working is channel 1...I have voices assigned to all the other 15 channels and I have the channel set up correctly in my DAW (corresponding to the part number on the Motif). The first issue is more important to me I'm sure I'll figure out the rest.

Damn homie. U wasn't kiddin when u said dudes slept on your thread. Try motifator.com also that's the motif forum didn't think about it earlier
