hi there, looking to pick one of these up.. what is the main issue of just having 4 voices? is it to do with how many keys can be played at the same time? could i still play basic chords with little issue? thanks

That's exactly what polyphony means in its basic form - how many notes can be played at the same time. It's gonna be somewhat of a problem if you have a long release in your sound, as then the next chord is gonna cut off the sounds still playing...

this is a severe limitation of the MS2k, i used to use 2 slaved together for a total of 8 voices (one rack one keyboard). i enjoyed the modulation capabilities and the craziness the mod sequencer brings to the table, however today i believe that the radias would be a better first choice. more expensive, but a much better bargain for what you get.
