So my current midi keyboard has no aftertouch which I need for some of the instruments I am using right now.
I have read through that FCB1010 manual before, but honestly I could not figure it out. Is it possible for me to use one of those foot pedals to add aftertouch to a keyboard that doesn't already have it? I don't want to have to buy another keyboard if I can do this by just adding a foot pedal instead. Or do I not understand how aftertouch works, and it has to be assigned to a particular MIDI note, and thus there's no way to add aftertouch to a note after it's been played?
I know each note can have its own aftertouch, but I thought there was a way to add generic aftertouch to the entire MIDI instrument.
