Akai MPD24/FL 8 FPC issues

What's up everybody? I am using an Akai MPD 24 with the Fruity Loops 8 FPC. I am having issues while recording drum loops. If I lay down a couple bars of hi hats, then come after that with a snare or kick, then my hats get replaced by the kicks or snares. I'm not able to have two pads playing simultaneously. I've checked the cut/by settings and that doesnt seem to be the issue. Anyone know what my problem is?

Nvm. I had the 'Record to step sequencer' box checked in audio settings. That'll do it every time. haha

You also have to have "Blend recorded notes" turned on. Otherwise, each time you run through the loop, you'll overwrite what you already laid down.

i had the same problem, but i would just create another FPC track and record a new sample, drums, hats over the subsequent one.
