not the physical feel, either.
not for me anyhow -
it's the feel of the finished product.
that swank, that raw nasty loose and gritty slump
that comes out of an mpc is very hard to re-create (if not impossible for many) using JUST software...
there's a swing about it -
hard to explain...
not to mention that warmth...
i started on drum machines back in the day -
went to software and back -
then bought the mpc4k and
my world changed.
i finally "got" it -
no hype.
