SP404 so frustrating

OK i just can't see why Roland don't just allow you to run the pattern sequencer whilst resampling, the sample trak has this facility in the same price range. Any one know why this is the case? Is it planned for future updates? THis was one of the 3 features i really wanted in the update to the 303, along with the ability to copy patterns and new pattern starts auto syncing to the end of previous patterns, hey at least I got one!

This along with the ability to copy patterns really would make it an amazing budget option for all kinds of electronic music. You could easily sequence whole tunes and record them down to one stereo pad ready to load onto a computer through the media card, it would be amazing!
