Can anyone tell me if the sp303 will let you sample a sound, then be able to change the tuning of the sample. Like if i sample a kick drum, can I raise the pitch of the kick? The reason i am asking is because i'm not sure if I read this correctly in one of the reviews. It said when you make a sample you can only play it back at the speed at which it was recorded. Can anyone clear this up for me. Thanks in advance. peace

You can alter the pitch of a sample, and you can change the tempo of each sample... so i guess you can do what you want to do with it!

when you change the BPM of a sample it drasticly changes the sound of the sample.. not a good thing IMO

if you want to alter the pitch i suppose you'd resample it and use the pitch FX on it.. never had a reason to do it personally
