sampling help????

What keyboard would i need to sample a sound and map it across my keyboard without changing the pitch, only changing the octave? I thought maybe the asr 10 could but i didnt see info that it could.

an eps/asr10 could if u assigned the samples correctly but u would need 61 copies. really any sampler with the ability to make copies and alter pitch can do this. If u want something cheap get an akai s900 they are less than $100 on ebay
 
i want to sample a sound and play it across the keyboard like an instrument. i dont think the akai s900 is a keyboard. I was in guitar center yesterday messing with the vsynth gt and it seemed pretty cool. I wonder why no famous producers or producers on the forums talk about using it
 
yeah an s900 is a rackmount sampler that is correct. u connect a midi keyboard to it and go on about ur day. as far as sampling a sound across the keyboard and it only being one physical sample thats not going to happen with anything. You are always going to have pitch issues.
