Hello Everyone! I was lucky enough to buy a used Juno-g from a kid who never used it yesterday for $400.

    Everything works fine except...
the main volume knob is "loose" it is a little wiggly so to speak. and the worst part is that it messes up the L/R outputs, sometimes i get no sound or a martially muted sound, and mainly just right strong.

I stuck a peice of folded paper into it and it works fine. i shouldnt have to mess with the main volume too much. but what if someone else messes with it.

so my question is: is this knob or connection easily to repair or replace?
Or should i go get my $400 back?? should i keep it anyway and ask for half of the money? will it work in the current state i have it in or will it inevitably break?

Thanks a lot for any input.

thats the risk you take when you buy used gear from people. just tell other people not to mess with the volume. what'd you expect for $400? take the board apart and look at what the problem is, it could just need to be tighten up or resoldered or something. you'll never know until you check. don't be afraid to open it up, just put everything back in the right place before you close it up.

Send it to a authorizer repair shop and get it fixed...
