ReCycle 1.7 sampler support

i need help!! i have a Roland S770 sampler and i finally brokedown and decided to utilize software apps. i got hold of ReCycle 1.7 and it does not list the 770. it does provide support for the S760 which is a stripped-down version of the S770. version 1.7 only supports MIDI transfers with the S760. can anyone tell me why ReCycle won't send or receive transfers via MIDI? when ReCycle searches for connected samplers, it recognizes the 770 as a 760. can anyone also help me find an older version of ReCycle that will support the 760 with both SCSI and MIDI transfers? apparently v1.7 only supports MIDI transfers!!

A. the drivers from the web site
or
B. get the latest ver. which is recycle 2.0
