The manual doesn't really get specific with alot of this, Im trying to save a song as an audio file (.wav)on my x6 and bring it up on my computer. I got everything done as far as the mix-down. Once it is done I assign it to track 1, after that i can see the audio track and the track name that i assigned it to fine. Okay this is where i am having the problem. How do i save that audio track as a .wave file so i can see it in the menu on my computer. I have all the connections ready by USB.
I can see image files and text files in the folders but no .wav files. Help me please anyone!

This is the part where the tutorials on Roland's website come in really handy. The one on "how to get my music on CD" (or something like that" for teh FantomX is what you want ... goes through just about everything step-by-step.

EDIT: Here's a link to the tutorials page:http://www.rolandus.com/products/pro...t&ObjectId=581

Once you are done with your mixdown go to the sampling. Then click 're-sampling'. Then you click 'auto trigger' and press play(make sure your track is at the beginning). It will then resample your track and by default will be a .wav file. But if you dont have sufficient memory then you wont be able to write the sample cuz it will be larger than 32mb. So you might wanna get a cf card.

Having a CF card does not expand the internal sampling memory. You need to upgrade the internal RAM with standard PC133 PC RAM.

Yeah the ram expands sampling memory. But he will still need a cf card because a sample will be stored in either user memory or card memory temporarily until you write it into sampling memory. So if he had a song which was 42 mb then he wouldnt be able to write it because he would only have 32mb of user memory.
