    Is it okay to connect scsi to scsi while the mpc is switched on because i only have one zip drive i use it for my keyboard and i dont no what other way to connect it to both at the same tiime, because i save my samples on my keyboard then i dont have and place to save my drums on my mpc

    No, you can't. It should even say so in your manual.

    Get a 2nd ZIP drive, they're cheap enough (surely cheaper than fixing your equipment when it breaks because you unplugged the SCSI while it was running).

    ^^^^I concur, I have a zip within a chain of my hard drive and CDrom attached to my MPC. So in order for me to switch sounds to my Reason's via wav I have another zip drive that is attached to my computer. You don't want to keep unplugging your zip from the MPC. I bought that second zip for $19.00 dollars off of ebay caught a good deal. Go to Ebay you may find one like this:
