    And which CDs can u use with a hard drive? CD-R 700MB? Is it a better option than a ZIP drive? I can get it for the same price..

    Which MPC you are referring to may help. But since you're showing a SCSI device in the photo, I'm guess it is either a 2000/XL or 3000.

    And what you have shown in that photo is not a hard drive. It is a Jaz drive.

    I'm not familiar with SCSI hard drives that work with the MPC models, but as far as CDs, 2000XL and earlier (models) don't allow you to burn to discs. They will be read only drives, so a CD writer would not work.
