hi there, i try to figure out if there´s a light way to lo cut samples within the programs?
Or in the mixer section, there is a filter, but no real hi-lo-cut options... only hi-cut i figured out is in the programs/parameter section.
    please give me any insights.
    peace

just cut it with your mixer when yuo sample... otherwise you can use the filters in the fx but then you have to add distortion to boost the sound and in the mixer drop the original sound all the way down... this is kinda the ghetto way of doin it.... but it works (in a gritty kinda way)

oh or you can get the mfc42 expansion
but technically thats not "in" the mpc

i haven't had the chance to try it with the 2000 but if you have the eb16 board in it... it would be the same way...

Can you 'invert' samples? (IE - turn them upside down, making a a wave like /\ look like \/?) If so, you could try to do some -real- ghetto low-cut by taking 2 copies of the sample, one hi-cut and one normal and playing them at the same time. If one of them is inverted, the 'shared' frequencies should cancel eachother out.

You might also get away with playing them in parallel and trying to offset the start point of one of them a bit. This would only really work 'correctly' for a pure sine wave, but you might have some luck. Unfortunately, you're most likely to end up with a warbly phased/flangy mess (but it might be interesting anyways )
