MPC-1000 Sample Save Error

Anyone else have this problem. Everything else works fine, Im just now unable to save new samples, or new Programs. When I try to it says: "Directory Error". Sequence data still saves fine.

The CF seems to have pleanty of Space. Anyone else have this problem? Any Solution?

thats probably because you have the akai os. isnt it? i suggest that you get 3.06 or pay 30 dollars. both of those will fix that problem. or make a new folder when ever you need to save.

By Paying These 30 Bucks I Won't Get That Directory Error Pop Up. . . That Sounds Good. . .Would I Also Get The Latest OS Upgrade With That On My Mpc. . . Or Do I Get The OS Upgrade Somewhere Else?

it's called JJ OS. it's an OS for the 1000 and 2500s. made by a guy who speaks/types very bad english from japan.

but we love him. because he does what akai cant/refuse to do.

the best $30 an MPC owner could spend.

???? the Akai OS isn't the reason for the Directory error.... Right? I could be wrong but I notice that when I move lots of stuff around via the computer... I have to copy all the files over... reformat... the paste them back... but I don't do this often...
