(MPC 1000)Recording Tracks Separately

I tried to search the forum and I couldn't find anything. Sorry if it's been asked but, is there a way to record each individual track to your DAW at once? In other words, if I have 16 tracks, can I record them into my DAW all at once instead of recording one track, then do another, then do another, etc....? Im using Audacity as my main software but also use Cubase 4 and Acid Pro 7.....(MPC 1000 .3.08)

if your MPC had 16 outputs, then yeah, that would be possible.

but from the looks of it, MPC 1000 has 6 analog outs...meaning you can only record six individual tracks at the same time.

6 outs = sixs ins to your DAW...

(i could be wrong though due to the fact that i don't own a MPC!)

I saw a video on youtube a while back. This dude was making a beat on the MPC1K and he had like 10 tracks and recorded all of them at once into protools (instead of recording one track, then record track two, then record track three, etc..) thats what I'm trying to do.
