yea i was thinkig of that....i have a Y cable and then put the rca's in a channel in my mixer (DJM500) but i just thought that might not be that great of sound quality....

the TF does have a MIDI out...could i use that and hook that into my mixer?

also kinda worried about the response with TF....iono if its my computer 'cuz its old or thats just how it is...i feel the response is slow...like its not instantly fired off....it takes less than a second but its not on beat which is important....is it my computer or the TF???

my computer is a desktop (sony vaio 1.5ghz 512MB RAM ...non SATA HD...~7yrs old)

Funniest thread i've read since "how do i remove vocals from a sample?" man, if i can program the TF to control exactly what i want, then u guys should atleast be able to use the presets. I made all my own presets based off the templates in enigma. Enigma has some documentation in it, as well as presets for Reason and Live. Open up enigma and have alook around, you should atleast be able to figure out which preset to use for impulse and dr.rex. Those are the only 2 you need, impulse starts notes at C3 and go up d3 e3 f3 etc, and the rex notes start at C1 and go up chromatically. That should get u started. If the TF is really that hard, then i'm a fricken genius! Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help and all but I don't see how it's sad to sell something that I don't use. I'm not selling it because I can't figure it out... but because it's useless to me because I couldn't figure it out and I found another way to program my drums. I don't use either Reason or Live... I use Cubase. I have my samples that I load into Kontakt and route them to the TF. Then I hit a pad and it plays the wrong note of the of the drum I want to play.

I have no clue what you're talking about when you mention impulse and dr. rex... I never read anything about that. But it's alright though... I'm fine using my keyboard for my drums.

just use your trigger finger inside ur daw, and record that way, sound quality will be fine, you just use the trigger finger to controll your daw

    haaaaaaaahhaaa ha
    rotfl...
    hahaha

if you have a newer mixer or a roland mixer u might put your midi out of said (djm 500)mixer with midi out of your trigger finger into router that goes to the machine makin the sounds what eva that might be. the mixer will probably only send mtc/mmc/bpm. try some sight like kvr audio, there you might find some starter soft.
actually with the korg padkontrol you get some basic progs that let you use it as a drum machine out the box with a computer and some samples, but i don't know if the tf offers that(??).
